About Beyond Rally
Rallying, with the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) as its pinnacle, is an epic battle against the elements and the clock. The competitors and their cars master the roughest, contrasting conditions, from snow-packed forest tracks in the intense cold to rock-strewn mountain passes in blistering heat. It is the same spirit of efficiency, performance, and innovation to overcome the toughest challenges that have driven WRC Promoter's contributions and purpose beyond the rallying sphere.
Beyond Rally is the WRC Promoter's umbrella platform for sustainability initiatives that contribute to shaping the future of motorsport and materialise its positive impact on society. Through this platform we will articulate, address, and communicate the sport's wider messages on areas such as climate, biodiversity, innovation, responsible management, and social impact, while driving the transition towards a sustainable future.
It is our firm belief that rallying must partake in finding answers to some of the world´s most pressing challenges, and serve as a test laboratory and proving ground for scalable solutions.

Women’s Development Programme
WRC Promoter is driving real change in rallying, creating a clear pathway for female drivers to reach the FIA Junior WRC.
Launched in 2024, the Beyond Rally Women’s Driver Development Programme is a multi-year initiative designed to bring more female talent to the top of the sport. The goal? To provide rising stars with the tools, experience, and opportunities needed to accelerate their careers - starting with a fully supported drive in the FIA Junior WRC.
The response was huge, with nearly 100 drivers applying for the inaugural season. From there, 15 standout talents were invited to an intense three-day assessment at M-Sport Poland’s Kraków headquarters. After proving their potential, three finalists — Lyssia Baudet (Belgium), Claire Schönborn (Germany) and Suvi Jyrkiäinen (Finland) — were given the chance to showcase their skills at Central European Rally, the penultimate round of the 2024 WRC season.
Baudet and Schönborn delivered near-identical performances, setting up a head-to-head battle at Rally Sweden to decide the ultimate winner. Both drivers tackled Sweden’s frozen stages in identical M-Sport Poland Ford Fiesta Rally3 cars, running on Hankook tyres under the WRC Young Driver Team banner. A crucial pre-event test at the John Haugland Winter Rally School helped them fine-tune their skills in extreme conditions.
When it mattered most, Schönborn rose to the occasion - securing a fully funded drive in the remaining four rounds of the 2025 FIA Junior WRC.
